Cars, Chili, and Community: La Grange's second annual Chili Fest
Get ready to spice up your taste buds and join the fun at the second annual La Grange Chili Fest. On April 1, 2023, the La Grange Town Park will be sizzling with excitement as chili lovers and car enthusiasts gather for a day of festivities.
Gates open at 10:00 am, but the music begins at 11:30 am. This year's entertainment features Second Helping: The American Lynyrd Skynyrd Show, a tribute band that will have you singing along to classic rock hits all day long.
Admission to the event is free, and for just $5, indulge in unlimited chili samples from various vendors competing for the coveted title of "Best Chili." Patrons have a chance to taste a wide variety of chili recipes, from mild to fiery, and vote for their favorite.
For the car enthusiast, don't miss the chance to showcase their ride in the car show. For a $20 entry fee, a car can be entered to compete for prizes in various categories. Plus, there will be vendor shopping opportunities throughout the event, with unique items available for purchase.
But the fun doesn't stop there - all proceeds from the event will benefit Boy Scouts of America Troop 114.
The event takes place on April 1, 2023, at the La Grange Town Park for the second Annual La Grange Chili Fest
