Fire crews and EMS respond to fire on Taylor-Heath Road in Kinston
The volunteer fire departments of Hugo, North Lenoir, Sand Hill and Hookerton responded to a working fire at 625 Taylor-Heath Road, Kinston, following a call to the Jones-Lenoir 911 Center at 1:46 p.m. today.
The crews extinguished the fire with no injuries; there was no one home at the residence. The Lenoir County EMS was also on scene, conducting rehabilitation operations for fire personnel. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Lenoir County Fire Marshal’s Office.
