Obituary: Tammy Lynn Moore Kennedy

KINSTON --Tammy Lynn Moore Kennedy, 62, departed this life on Friday, April 14, 2023, at her home. She is preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Hugh Kennedy, Jr., and father, Ronald Lee Moore.

She leaves to cherish her memory: children, Hollis L. Heath of Kinston, Jason W. Heath wife Crystal of Albertson, Jeff Kennedy of LaGrange, and Jennifer Kennedy of LaGrange; mother, Ida Moore; grandchildren, Tyler Heath, Alston Heath, Dillon Varker, Allie Varker, Lucas Heath, Kaylee Kennedy, Jordan Heath, Nicholas Varker and Audrey Fields; great grandchild: Paisley Heath; sisters, Betty Potter of Ayden; Denise Moore, Dedra Kelly and Pam Martinez husband José all of Kinston; along with a host of special nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Memorial services for Mrs. Kennedy will take place Thursday, April 27, 2023, 11 a.m. at New Hope Baptist Church in Kinston. Graveside service will follow at Turner Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please donate to a charity of your choice in her memory.

To further honor Tammy's wishes, the family is still planning a Celebration of Life on May 6th.
