Lenoir County Sheriff's Office Arrests Man Charged with Sexual Activity with Minors

KINSTON — A man was arrested last week by the Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office after being charged with five counts of sexual activity with minors.

The LCSO began investigating after it received a report concerning sexual activity between an adult and juveniles in the county on March 6. On Friday, March 24, William Curtis Rhue, 44, of Kinston was charged with the following:

• Two counts of indecent liberties with a child

• Sexual activity by a substitute parent

• First degree statutory sex offense

• Sexual battery

Rhue was placed in the Lenoir County Jail without a bond.
