Lenoir County Chamber of Commerce announces partnership with Neuse News

The Lenoir County Chamber of Commerce, an organization committed to promoting business, quality education, and economic growth, has entered a new partnership with Neuse News. This collaboration aims to bring local businesses closer to the community.

“We are very excited to have Neuse News join the Chamber of Commerce and to support us as a President’s Club partner!” said Lenoir County Chamber of Commerce President/CEO Vickie Jones. “This shows the community support by Neuse News and together we can accomplish great things for Lenoir County!!”

Established in 1911, the Lenoir County Chamber of Commerce has served as a voice and advocate for the community, representing businesses, agencies, nonprofits, and individual members. The Chamber's mission is to improve the economic outlook and business climate of the community through business engagement, fellowship, and cooperative relationships.

By joining the Chamber, businesses gain credibility, increased visibility, a voice in state and local government, networking opportunities, and access to exclusive services and offers. The partnership with Neuse News will further enrich these benefits.

"The Chamber of Commerce under Vickie Jones's leadership is starting to adapt to the new digital business landscape, while also maintaining the face-to-face networking opportunities," said BJ Murphy, Publisher of Neuse News.

Neuse News is a hyper-local news platform dedicated to providing valuable, ad-free information to communities in Lenoir, Greene, and Jones counties through mobile, digital, and social platforms. The mission of Neuse News is to enable consumers to lead more productive lives as citizens by delivering timely and relevant news without online subscription fees, pop-up ads, or dependence on the Associated Press.

"The success of our community is built on an engaged citizenry, business and job opportunities, a healthy political structure, solid educational system, and an affordable and safe place to raise a family,” said Murphy. “Our Lenoir County Chamber of Commerce is at the center of all these facets and we need them to be successful in their initiatives. Neuse News is proud to be the most trusted and accessible news entity in our area and we see this partnership as a win-win."

Starting soon, Neuse News will publish a monthly Lenoir County Chamber of Commerce update which will highlight the business community’s past and future events. It also gives the Chamber of Commerce the opportunity to promote major events such as the Wake Up Lenoir series, business expos, networking events, and more.

Through this partnership, the Chamber and Neuse News aim to work together to ensure that local businesses receive the recognition and support they need to thrive, ultimately benefiting the entire Lenoir County community.
