Obituary: Donna Jean Patterson Millhorn

Donna Jean Patterson Millhorn, 93, passed away on Friday, May 5, 2023. Services are private.

Donna, daughter of the late Ward and Pearl Patterson, was a native of Dennison, Ohio and married Robert Millhorn on September 13, 1947. They moved to Kinston in 1974 when Joy Manufacturing relocated to La Grange. Donna retired from Kmart in 1992 as a store clerk. She was a member of Gordon Street Christian Church where she served as the librarian and was active in all the women’s activities. She loved to read, do puzzles, and play games on the computer.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Bob” Millhorn; and a sister, Patty Wharton.

Donna is survived by her children, Tina Faulkner and Robbie Millhorn, both of Kinston; granddaughters, Krista Garrison (Curtis) and Donna Kelton (Cody); great grandchildren, Jesse, Clayton, and Emmett Garrison and Maizley Kelton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
