La Grange woman arrested on drug charge
After multiple resident complaints near a La Grange residence led to a narcotics investigation, a 60-year-old woman was arrested on a controlled substance charge this week.
On Thursday, June 22, the Lenoir County SCARR unit executed a search warrant at a residence on Drew Farmer Road in La Grange. During the search, drug paraphernalia and methamphetamine were discovered at the residence, where Patricia Avery resided.
Avery was arrested Wednesday on a warrant for felony possession of Schedule II controlled substance; she was placed in Lenoir County Jail under a secured bond.
