Public Notice: LCPS Request for Proposals - Driver Education Services

Proposals must be submitted in a sealed package and indicate “Driver Education Services Proposal” on the outside of the package. Sealed proposals will be accepted by Amy Jones, High School Education Director, Lenoir County Public Schools until 4:00 p.m., July 26, 2023 at 2017 West Vernon Avenue Kinston, NC 28504.

A copy of the Form of Proposal, including the Specified Terms and Conditions for Driver Education Services, may be obtained by logging onto the Lenoir County Public Schools website – www.lcpsnc.org.

All qualified proposals will be evaluated and acceptance made of the lowest responsive, responsible proposal and whichever shall be considered by School System to be most advantageous or to constitute its best interest, as determined by consideration of: the contractor’s qualifications, quality of program offered, references, experience, financial standing, labor supply, safety, and bid price.

The School System encourages participation of historically underutilized businesses in the school system's purchase of goods and services. The board of education prohibits discrimination against any person or business on the basis of race, color, ethnic origin, sex, disability or religion. The Lenoir County Board of Education reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids presented, and the right to waive any informalities or irregularities.
