Greene County Schools plans a Back to School Bash

Snow Hill, NC - With the beginning of the next school year slowly approaching, Greene County Schools has gathered the community to throw a Back to School Bash. The event will serve as a way to engage Greene County Schools students and their families in a fun and positive manner before the school year begins.

Rain or shine, this free event will take place on August 12, 2023 from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm at Greene Central High School. Each school will have a table where parents and students can meet some staff and get general information about the school. Other community businesses will be present as well to share information about their organization. Along with a free entrance, there will be free food, free haircuts, bounce houses, giveaway of school supplies and so much fun for the whole family.

Greene County Schools is still asking for the support of the community. If you’d like to be a part of the Back to School Bash, whether by donating items, funds, time, or registering for a table, connect with Jada Mumford or Astrid Nava at the Greene County Board of Education.
