Dudley man arrested with firearm during Kinston traffic stop
Arrest of Marque Darden on Felony Charges
On Thursday, December 12, 2024, at approximately 10:39 AM, the Kinston Police Department's C-Squad received a tip regarding a wanted subject. Marque Darden, 30, of Dudley, NC, was wanted by the Kinston Police Department in connection with a felonious assault that took place earlier.
Officers initiated an investigation based on the information provided and later conducted a traffic stop, where Darden was found to be a passenger in the vehicle. Upon arrest, officers discovered a concealed firearm in Darden's possession.
In addition to the warrant for the assault, Darden has been charged with felony carrying a concealed weapon.
