UNC Health Lenoir Receives Gift in Memory of Local Businessman, J.C. Reynolds, Sr.
Dedication of the Reynolds Way Memorial Plaque was held December 3, 2024, on the campus of UNC Health Lenoir. The beautiful plaque was unveiled to mark the naming of the connecting street between Herritage Street and Airport Road which runs through the campus of UNC Health Lenoir. The naming of this street was made possible thanks to a very generous gift given by Johnny Reynolds in loving memory of his father, John Curtis “JC” Reynolds, Sr.
Johnny’s contribution to the Lenoir Hospital Foundation will go to financially assist in the purchase of a DaVinci Robot for UNC Health Lenoir. This state-of-the-art instrument will be used to perform minimally invasive gynecology, urology, and general surgeons. Thanks to Johnny’s philanthropy, UNC Health Lenoir will enhance the quality of care provided to those in need, ensuring that our patients receive the most effective and least invasive treatment. This unselfish, thoughtful support directly impacts the lives of countless individuals, improving outcomes and helping UNC Health Lenoir maintain the highest standards of care.
