Snow Hill Police Department seeks public assistance in felony larceny case

Snow Hill NC Police Department posted the following on their Facebook page:

Snow Hill Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in identifying the individual below in reference to a felony larceny case.

On Monday, March 11, 2024 around 2120 hours, officers with the Snow Hill Police Department and Greene County Sheriff's Office responded to Handy Mart in reference a larceny in progress. Employees of the store told responding officers that a black male came into the store, hopped over the counter and began taking tobacco products from behind the counter. The suspect also managed to take some lighters from the counter as well before leaving the store. Employees of the store told officers that the suspect left in a white SUV and went towards SE 2nd St.

The suspect is described as a light skinned male wearing a camouflage jacket, a red shirt with white stripes and dark colored pants.
