Relay for Life Event to Support Cancer Research in Lenoir and Greene Counties

DEEP RUN, N.C. — The annual Relay for Life event for Lenoir and Greene counties will be held on Friday, June 14, 2024, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at South Lenoir High School, located at 3355 Old Hwy 11 in Deep Run.

“We are looking forward to another good year. Survivors! This is for you!” Jo Ellen Sloan, co-chair.

Organized by the American Cancer Society, this event aims to raise funds and awareness in the fight against cancer. Community members are encouraged to join and help end cancer as we know it.
