Dear Neighbor,
I hope you and your family are doing well. We've had another productive month at the General Assembly. Please take a few minutes to read our newsletter, which includes highlights on some of the things we've been up to in Raleigh and at home. As always, our office is open to assist you, take your feedback, and answer your questions. Thank you for your continued support and prayers.
At your service,

GREENE CENTRAL BASEBALL TEAM WINS NCHSAA CHAMPIONSHIP
Congratulations to the Greene Central Rams for taking home the NCHSAA 2A State Championship. Their dominant season culminated in a well-deserved victory. Congratulations to the players, coaches, and everyone who supported this remarkable team! Hats off to Coach Brann and his staff for their dedication in creating a winning culture at Greene Central. A special shoutout to Braden Burress for his MVP performance leading Greene Central to the championship. Incredible work by the entire team!
INVESTING IN EASTERN NC'S FUTURE
Eastern North Carolina is the land of opportunity. It’s critical we continue to invest in our future with quality education, workforce development, and tax cuts for hardworking families & businesses. I’m running for re-election to keep our communities the best place to live, work, and raise a family. Join me in the fight at www.ChrisHumphreyNC.com!
NEW AIRPORT PROJECT MANAGER AT GTP
It was a pleasure to welcome Gage King to our NCGA office earlier this month. Mr. King, a new resident of Kinston, recently began serving as Airport Project Manager at the North Carolina Global TransPark. The GTP is an economic engine driving opportunities in Eastern NC, & we’re grateful to have dedicated professionals like Gage working with us to take this site to the next level.
ADVOCATING FOR FARMERS
Farmers & agricultural workers are the backbone of our community — providing food, creating jobs, and driving our local economy. As your State Representative, I will continue to advocate for better infrastructure that improves the transportation of goods, and champion policies that make NC the best state for agribusiness. Together, we’ll continue to support the agricultural heritage that makes Eastern North Carolina strong.
CONNECTING WITH GREENE LAMP COMMUNITY ACTION AGENCY
We enjoyed visiting with our friends from Greene Lamp Community Action Agency. This organization, based in Kinston, provides services that stabilize households — connecting families to employment opportunities, providing early childhood education, helping individuals with special needs, and improving the living conditions of low-income residents. We’re very blessed to have such an impactful non-profit serving our communities.
SUPPORTING RURAL COMMUNITIES
I’m running for re-election to the NC House to continue strengthening our rural communities. We have a track record of success expanding broadband access, strengthening flood resilience, and supporting local businesses — and with your support, I’ll continue to work tirelessly to improve the quality of life for all residents of Eastern North Carolina. Together, we’ll make our region the best place to live, work, and raise a family.
