Downtown Kinston Social District Ribbon Cutting

The City of Kinston is excited to announce the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony celebrating the opening of the Downtown Kinston Social District. The event will take place Wednesday, July 3rd, at 11:00 AM. The event will take place at the corner of W. North and N. Queen Street, with remarks by elected officials followed by the ribbon cutting at 11:15 AM.

The City of Kinston’s Downtown Social District is a defined area where people may walk around with an alcoholic beverage during certain hours.  The District comprises a six-block area from Queen Street to Mitchell Street and West Gordan Street to E. Peyton Ave.
