Kinston woman arrested for DWI and Assault
KPD's A-Squad responded to a residence on Old Snow Hill Road for a report of someone being chased by a motor vehicle. Officers arrived on scene and made contact with Jeronte Dudley (25 of LaGrange) and his girlfriend, Keola Thompson (23 of Kinston). The investigation revealed that Keola Thompson was intoxicated, attempted to run Mr. Dudley over, and struck a trash can. Keola Thompson was arrested on scene and charged with DWI, Assault With a Deadly Weapon, and damage to property.
Jeronte Dudley was also arrested by the Lenoir County Sheriff's Office for unrelated warrant.
