Sheriff Sasser reports an arrest made on three different arson investigations

The Greene County Sheriff’s Office posted the following on their Facebook page:

On 08/20/2024, Greene County Sheriff's Office Investigators arrested 41 year old Leslie Earl Holloman III of Maury and charged him with three counts of Second Degree Arson.

The first structure fire was reported on 08/03/2024 around 7:52 pm on Frizzlle Farm Rd. in the Maury Area. On 08/17/2024 around 3:50 pm a second structure fire was reported on Half Moon Rd also in the Maury area. A third structure fire was reported on 08/20/2024 around 2:45 pm on Four Way Rd. in the Hookerton area. All three structures were luckily vacant at the time of the fires and no one was injured.

Holloman was identified as a possible suspect following the Half Moon Rd fire and after the report of the third fire on Four Way Rd, Holloman was seen by witnesses leaving the area of the fire. Deputies located Holloman not far from the scene and took him into custody. During an interview Holloman confessed to setting all three structure fires. Holloman is currently in the Greene County Detention Center on a $150,000 secured bond.

Sheriff Sasser would like to thank all of the Volunteer Fire Departments who responded and safely put out the fires with no injuries, as well as the investigative work done by Greene County Emergency Services and Greene County Sheriff's Office Investigators, which lead to an arrest in these cases.
