La Grange man arrested with new charges, no bond given
A man wanted on multiple charges was apprehended Wednesday by the Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office and sent to jail with new charges and no bond.
Ryan Keith Everett, 37, of La Grange, was arrested during a traffic stop on Albrittons Road near Joe Nunn Road by detectives with the SCARR (Street Crimes and Ready Response) unit and the LCSO’s General Investigations Division.
A blue Hyundai Everett had stolen was recovered during the traffic stop.
Everett was arrested for outstanding warrants and also received these additional charges:
· Possession of a firearm by a felon
· Possession of a stolen firearm
· Possession of a firearm with an altered serial number
· Possession of stolen goods
· Possession of a stolen vehicle
· Trafficking methamphetamine
· Maintaining a vehicle for controlled substance
Everett received no bond due to being out of jail on pretrial release.
