KPD: Deep Run man arrested for possession of ecstasy

On September 3, 2024, Officers on D-Squad were patrolling the area of Jack Rountree Apartments. During this time, officers observed a vehicle parked with the door open. Officers approached the vehicle and made contact with Charles Cox (31 of Deep Run, NC) sitting in the back seat. Cox began attempting to making suspicious movements inside the vehicle and refused to comply with officers. Officers conducted an investigation and located 25 ecstasy pills and marijuana. Cox was arrested without further incident for the following:

-Possession of Schedule I

-Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

-Simple Possession of Marijuana
