Old Wachovia building makes way for new development

The Old Wachovia building at 700 Plaza Blvd was demolished recently. In December, Perry Management announced the sale of the property, expressing excitement about its future.

According to a Lenoir County permit shared online, Fast Pace Urgent Care is set to take its place. The 2,164-square-foot building, originally constructed in 1967, had served as a bank for decades. Its recent sale, recorded on Dec. 17, 2024, for $525,500 to JMB FP Investment Company LLC, signaled the beginning of this transition.
