Help Wanted: Social Work Supervisor III
As a member of the Department of Social Services with Lenoir County Government, you can make a difference! The agency is seeking candidates for a Social Work Supervisor III. Candidates in this classification have an immense impact on our community. Social Work Supervisors must provide structure, coordinate, administer and supervise Adult Services to provide day-to day supervision of a staff of Social Workers that provide direct and/or indirect services to Adult Services clients consisting of disabled, elderly, or vulnerable adults age 18 or older. This position is also assigned to provide day-to-day supervision to the Social Workers in the Work First Employment Program. Employees in this class must have thorough knowledge of social work principles, techniques, practices, and their application towards complex casework, group work, and community problems. Candidates must have knowledge of the psychosocial, socioeconomic and behavioral problems along with treatment resolutions.

Minimum Requirements:
• Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from an
Accredited School and two years of related experience
• Possess a valid North Carolina Driver's License
• Pass a criminal background check
• Must be of Good Moral Character
Special Entry Rate: $66,073.37 – Outside of Special Entry Rate based on Experience
