Throughout the last two weeks of December, the Lenoir County Street Crimes and Ready Response (SCARR) unit performed proactive enforcement throughout the county, which led to four arrests.  

On Monday, Dec. 16, Julius Smith, 32, of Seven Springs, was arrested when methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia were located in a vehicle he was in. Smith also had three outstanding orders for arrest in Lenoir and Wayne counties. He was arrested and booked for felony possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, misdemeanor possession of Schedule VI and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Smith received a $9,000 secured bond on the charges.

On Saturday, Dec. 21, John Kennion, 41, of Pink Hill, was arrested and charged with felony possession with intent to sell/deliver a Schedule II controlled substance following a traffic stop in which cocaine was located in a vehicle he occupied. The cocaine was packaged consistent with street-level narcotic sales. He received a $7,500 secured bond.

On Tuesday, Dec. 24, Jeremy Cross, 51, and Tammy Dolderer, 49, both of La Grange, were arrested and charged with felony possession of a Schedule II controlled substance. During a vehicle stop, a search of their vehicle led to the discovery of methamphetamine. Dolderer was found to have two active orders for arrest, one of which was a probation violation. She received a $16,000 secured bond; Cross received a $10,000 secured bond.
