Scott and Ash Mason to Share Insights at Social Media Summit 2025 in Kinston
The Social Media Summit 2025 (SMS2025) is gearing up to be an exciting event for professionals eager to explore the intersection of artificial intelligence and social media marketing. Among the notable speakers are Scott and Ash Mason, the dynamic duo behind The Hive Drive. Full-time travelers and digital marketing entrepreneurs, the Masons are set to bring their unique perspectives and inspiring journey to the stage.
“We’re Scott and Ash, full-time travelers exploring the world and sharing the best places to Stay, Eat and Things To Do,” the couple shared. “Mainly in our converted school bus, but also by plane, train, boat, or any other way we can! Come along with us as we travel the world, finding cool places you won’t want to miss. Whether you’re looking for a cozy hideaway in the great outdoors, delicious food that’ll make your mouth water, or exciting adventures to get your heart pumping, we’ve got something for you! Think of us as your go-to guides for all things travel!”
The Hive Drive is more than a means of transportation—it’s a philosophy. The Masons describe it as “a culture we seek to create.” Their mantra, “Be Kind,” is a driving force behind their mission. “We document all of our travels and highlight all the places we find and people we meet along the way. Our goal is to pollinate kindness everywhere we go,” they explained. Their bus, aptly named Honey, embodies their mission of community and creativity, inspired by the cooperative and purposeful nature of bees.
“Bees all work for the good of the hive,” the Masons said. “They work in community with one another, they work creatively together and travel all over pollinating life as they go. That’s our goal—to live a life that looks out for others, that brings communities together, celebrates creativity, and travels as much as we can, pollinating kindness, hope, and joy everywhere we go.”
The Masons have grown their digital presence from sharing vlog-style content on YouTube to daily posts on Instagram, building a vibrant community of adventurers and storytellers. This experience has also fueled their business, a traveling digital marketing agency that helps businesses and brands enhance their online presence through creative content and strategic planning.
“We’re believers that a rising tide raises all ships,” the Masons said. “What good is learning and growing, if not to share those experiences with others?! Participating in the 2025 Social Media Summit is something we’re truly looking forward to, to share what we’ve learned and to glean from others' experiences too.”
At SMS2025, Scott and Ash plan to discuss their journey as full-time content creators and small business owners, covering topics such as dreaming big, networking effectively, planning strategically, and forming impactful partnerships.
As for the future, the Masons’ outlook is optimistic and adventurous. “Wherever our next big idea takes us. ;)” they concluded.
