Nooherooka Natural to open farm market in Snow Hill
SNOW HILL — Nooherooka Natural, a seventh-generation family-owned farm, is opening a new storefront in Snow Hill, bringing its pasture-raised Angus beef and heritage pork directly to the community.
The Nooherooka Natural Farm Market will officially open its doors on Saturday, March 1, 2025, with a grand opening celebration from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. A ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for 10 a.m. at the market’s location at 1151 US-13, Snow Hill, NC, in the former Greene County ABC Store No. 4 building.
“We’re excited to bring this market to Snow Hill and share our farm’s high-quality, all-natural meats with the community,” Nooherooka Natural shared in a recent announcement. “In addition to our pasture-raised beef and pork, we’ll also feature products from local providers and artisans.”
Renovations for the new market have been underway since January, with Nooherooka Natural keeping followers updated on social media. “We like to think of the old ABC Store as standing for Angus Beef Cows now,” the farm joked in a post on Jan. 23.
Nooherooka Natural has long been committed to producing tender, flavorful meats without antibiotics, hormones, or feed additives. The farm grows its own feed and even incorporates spent grains from local breweries into its process. All products are USDA-inspected, dry-aged for maximum tenderness, and vacuum-packed for freshness.
The farm market’s grand opening will provide an opportunity for customers to purchase Nooherooka Natural’s premium meats and explore offerings from other local vendors.
For more information, follow Nooherooka Natural on social media or visit the farm at the grand opening event on March 1.
