Patrol car crash shuts down Highway 241 for hours
Emergency crews responded to a crash early Sunday morning involving a patrol car that struck a light pole on Highway 241 near Potters Hill. The driver was trapped due to live power lines on the vehicle, with a K9 also inside.
Tri-County EMC arrived to cut power, allowing both the driver and K9 to exit safely. Fire crews from Potters Hill and Pink Hill shut down Highway 241 between Church Road and Parker Heath Road for several hours while crews replaced the pole and restored power.
