Help wanted: Public Health Nurse II-Maternity and BCCCP Programs
As a member of the Lenoir County Government Health Department, you can make a difference! The Health Department is seeking candidates for a Public Health Nurse II-Maternity and BCCCP Programs. Candidates work involves providing assessment on maternity, family planning, sexually transmitted disease, and cancer detection. Candidates for employment must be a proficient user in and have a good understanding of NCEDSS, NCIR, and Patagonia; they must understand how they function in each program. Employees in this classification serve as a resource to patients and community partners.

Minimum Requirements:
• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing/one year of experience
• License/Certification required by North Carolina Board of Nursing
• Possess considerable knowledge of nursing theory, practices, principles, and techniques
• Possess a valid North Carolina Driver’s License
• Pass a background check
