Local veterans with Joseph Dixon Rountree American Legion Post 43 honored a group of local young men who volunteer their time to help in the community with recognition and camaraderie. Click on the story to also see a video interview with three of the young men.
The residents were treated to music provided by Rick and Jane Vernon, and food cooked by Donna Hardy with the help of the youth volunteers at The Gate. The young men and women served the elders of their community with joy and a genuine desire to ensure that their guests had a wonderful evening.
