Our Annual Fall Clean Up will be held Saturday, October 14th! Volunteers are needed! This will be a wonderful opportunity for students or scouts to earn Community Service hours! Several Greene Early College recently partnered with Kinston’s Public Service Department Annual Fall Cleanup. Planned every October since 2000, community volunteers are urged to participate in this event. Kinston Public Services is looking to roll out its NexGrid technology, which will help the city diagnose power outages while also helping customers lower bills.
Kinston Public Services will be conducting repairs on Hardee Road between Hampton Drive and Essex Street beginning Monday. Construction will continue through Thursday. Hardee Road will be closed through these blocks until work is complete.
