"A Queen Street Christmas" has been a favorite event for many in Lenoir County and the surrounding area for 18 years. To prevent the loss of another event this season, members of Queen Street United Methodist Church worked tirelessly to create a virtual event to share for the Christmas season. While the experience of this presentation in person cannot be replaced, it is their hope that this concert will bring joy to the hearts of those who "attend". Mr. Andre Whitfield, principal of Southeast Elementary School, accepted donations of school supplies from Queen Street UMC prior to the opening of school. Queen Street Church has partnered with Southeast School for the past 20 years through their Hand in Hand ministry.
