Tidal Wave Car Wash to replace former Golden Corral site
A new car wash is set to take over the site of the former Golden Corral restaurant at 4468 US-70, Kinston, NC 28504. The Tidal Wave Car Wash project has received permits and will soon begin construction, replacing the once-popular dining establishment.
Lenoir County Assistant Manager Adam Short confirmed that the necessary permits for the Tidal Wave Car Wash have been issued. He stated, "That project is under the City's zoning/site approval jurisdiction. If you have questions more specifically about the project, I'd recommend contacting their planning department."
Kinston City Manager Rhonda Barwick has confirmed that the former Golden Corral building is being torn down to make way for the Tidal Wave Car Wash.
As the project moves forward, more information about the Tidal Wave Car Wash's features, pricing, and opening date will likely be released.
