Mrs. Lannie Jones Dozier, age 88, passed away Tuesday afternoon, September 26, 2023, at her home. Funeral services will be held graveside 2 PM Sunday, October 1st, at the Snow Hill Cemetery with Allen Harrison officiating. The family will greet friends and extended relatives immediately following the service.
Alton "Mickey" Parker Davis, Jr., 80, of Kinston, North Carolina passed away on Tuesday, September 19, 2023. Inurnment for Mickey and his beloved wife, Brenda, will take place in the Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery at a later date. Dewey “Lynn” Pelletier passed away peacefully surrounded by family and his trusted canine companion “Little Bit” on Saturday, September 9, 2023. On Saturday, September 30, honoring his wishes, we will gather for his farewell dance and celebration of life from 6:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. at New South. A memorial service for family and close friends will be held at 2:00 p.m.

Mrs. Lewellyn Davis Bradshaw, best known as “Lew”, passed away Monday evening at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro. Funeral services will be held graveside 11 AM Thursday, September 21st, at the Westview Cemetery with Reverend Glenn Hill officiating. The family will greet friends and extended relatives immediately following the service at the cemetery and other times at Mrs. Bradshaw’s residence.
Judy Jernigan Fields passed away peacefully at home on Monday, September 18, 2023. A Service of Love and Remembrance will be held in the chapel of Rouse Funeral Home on Friday, September 22, 2023 at 3:00 pm. Visitation will take place an hour prior to the service, 2:00 pm. Following the service, the family will receive friends at Judy’s home.
