The Lenoir County Juvenile Crime Prevention Council announces the availability of $247,183 for 2024-25. Program applications are due by 5 pm on March 1, 2024. Only local public agencies, 501 (c)3 non-profit corporations and local housing authorities will be considered for funding. Pursuant to G.S. 115C-518 and 160A-269, the Lenoir County Board of Education hereby gives notice that it has received an offer to purchase the Teacher’s Memorial School property owned by the Lenoir County Board of Education. The offer to purchase is in the amount of Three Hundred Nineteen Thousand Dollars ($319,000.00). Notice is hereby given that prior to January 2, 2024, at 4:00 PM, any person may raise the bid by not less than ten percent (10%) of the first one thousand dollars ($1000) and five percent (5%) of the remainder ($318,000). Therefore, the lowest acceptable upset bid is Three Hundred Thirty-Five Thousand Dollars ($335,000.00).
