Kinston High School traveled to Snow Hill to play sports rival Greene Central on Tuesday evening. UNC head basketball coach Roy Williams was in attendance to watch Kinston standout Dontrez Styles play. The Vikings defeated the Rams 67-47.
According to a press release from the New Orleans Pelicans, the National Basketball Association announced today that Kinston native and New Orleans Pelicans forward Brandon Ingram has been named a reserve in the 2020 NBA All-Star Game, which will be played on Sunday, February 16 at the United Center in Chicago.
