Help wanted: Lenoir County heavy equipment mechanic

Heavy Equipment Mechanic: Permanent; Full-time; Salary Range $29,238 - $51,596.

An employee in this class primary responsibility is to perform skilled mechanical work in the repair and maintenance of heavy motorized equipment at the County Landfills and Transfer Station. Work involves minor adjustments to complete engine overhauls and component rebuilds, including gasoline and diesel equipment.

Employee is also responsible for planning preventive maintenance schedules, and maintaining parts and supply inventories of frequently used parts. **A valid North Carolina Driver’s License is required.
