APA rolls over John Paul II
Arendell Parrott Academy picked up a second straight shutout Tuesday, defeating John Paul II 9-0.
Harris Barker, George Dismukes and Jesse Morquecho each scored two goals for the Patriots (3-2), who won 7-0 over Harrells Christian Aug. 22. Kolby Jones, Jenks Jenkins and Marshall Taylor all had goals with Mateus Prado registering two assists. Josh Okonkwo, John Grice, Elia Movahead, Jones, Dismukes, Morquecho and Jenkins also had assists, and Taylor Llewellyn recorded the shutout.

APA wins in straight sets
Arendell Parrott Academy had no problem with John Paul II Tuesday, winning 25-12, 25-6, 25-9 at home.
Virginia Edmondson led the way for the Patriots (8-1) with 13 kills, Mackenzie Pope had 14 assists and Lauren Richardson provided 15 service points.
