National Weather Services issues latest snowfall forecast

According to the National Weather Service in Morehead City, “No big changes on when we expect the snow to arrive in the area later Thursday. The change to snow will happen well inland and that is where higher amounts are expected. The chart of the left is our official forecast. On the right, we are showing ‘worst case scenario’, (10%chance of occurring). We are still over 24 hours out and there are still a lot of discrepancies between models.”
