Community Council for the Arts will remained closed through Labor Day

The Board of Directors of the Community Council for the Arts regret to announce the continued closure of the Arts Center. This action is anticipated to last at least through the Labor Day weekend.

This announcement also includes the cessation of summer camps, property rentals, meetings, classes, etc. and any other activities that are part of the day to day operations with which our community enjoys and is accustomed.

The closure is due to the COVID19 virus restrictions that have severely hampered our traditional revenue streams of annual membership, fundraising events and property rentals.

The  inability to raise sufficient operating dollars through these sources has resulted in financial constraints that relate to the fixed expenses of successfully re-opening with sustainable operations of this small business.

Should you need to reach a staff member of the organization or gain access to the property for the pickup of artwork please call 252-527-2517 or email Sandy Landis at slandis@kinstoncca.com or Martha Bishop at opsmanager@kinstoncca.com.

We are hopeful that we will be able to re-open in the early fall and that we will have the support of the community as we attempt to navigate these unchartered waters.   We will post information regarding re-opening on our website at www.kinstoncca.com and our social media links.  Thank you for your patience and any understanding of any inconvenience our continued closure may cause.
