Lenoir/Greene United Way launches annual campaign with special contest

Lenoir/Greene United Way will be celebrating the launch of their annual campaign a little differently this year. The organization, which helps to fund 16 area nonprofits is hosting a contest inviting the community to help “guess the theme” of their new campaign. The contest begins on Friday, August 21 with the first clue being given on the Lenoir/Greene United Way Facebook page. Follow the clues until August 27 with the big reveal on August 28!  A special video with concept and script by Molly Taylor and videography by Seraphim Smith will cap off the theme reveal. 

“We wanted to engage our community in the launch of our annual campaign even though we cannot have an event, as in years past, stated Molly Taylor, Executive Director. The winner of our “Guess the Theme” contest will win a gift basket valued at $500 filled with gifts from local small businesses in Lenoir and Greene Counties. Our United Way wanted to provide this gift as a way to share our love and thanks to our local small businesses.”
