Reece Gardner: Just what happened in D.C. on January 6?

Just what happened in D.C. on January 6? One of the guests on my television show this week, area business leader Vernon "Mugsy" Walter, was at this Trump Rally and he observed some interesting things occurring, such as the violent presence of some Anti-Trump participants, some appearing to be members of the Antifa terrorist group.

Based on my interview with Walter and other information from various news outlets, I offer the following observations: President Trump has been holding rallies for over four years, and not one of them has come even close to resembling the chaos that took place at the gathering at the Capitol Building on January 6.

It seems highly unlikely that Trump supporters would choose this time to act violent, because this event, Congress' Joint Session, seemed to be heading toward the acceptance of Trump supporters' desire for a thorough review of various questionable activities that occurred during the Election. Would it really benefit Conservatives and the MAGA Movement to essentially threaten the Legislators inside who were seemingly heading toward a conclusion they were seeking?

The answer has to be a resounding "No!" And the same people who called it a "Myth" when Antifa and others were actually burning, looting, and rioting all summer long, are now quick to denounce a mostly peaceful protest as violent, and to demand that President Trump resign immediately, The vast majority of those who gathered at the January 6 rally were probably there because they felt they had been given no other option than to petition the government with grievances they had about the handling of the Election.

And now there are some who, citing the violence that occurred at this rally, want to forcibly remove Trump from the White House. One commentator stated that those who are making this effort are sitting on top of a powder keg playing with matches. If these people really wanted to have peace and order restored, all it would have taken was a delay of certification followed by an audit of the votes in six states. Let's all pray that God in his infinite mercy will bring us through this storm and restore order in our Land.

Now to close on a humorous note: After a thorough investigation, a rich gangster discovered that his bookkeeper had cheated him out of 10 million dollars. His bookkeeper was deaf, which was the reason he got the job in the first place. It was assumed that a deaf bookkeeper would not hear anything that he might have to testify about in court.

When the mobster goes to confront the bookkeeper about his missing $10 million, he brings along his attorney, who knows sign language. The Godfather tells the lawyer, "Ask him where the $10 million bucks he embezzled from me is." The attorney, using sign language, asks the bookkeeper, "Where is the money?" The bookkeeper signs back, "I don't know what you're talking about." The attorney tells the gangster, "He says he doesn't know what you're talking about." The gangster pulls out his gun, puts it to the bookkeeper's temple, and says, "Ask him again."

The attorney signs to the bookkeeper, "He will kill you if you don't tell him!" The bookkeeper signs back, "OK!, OK!, you win. The money is in a brown briefcase buried behind the shed in my Cousin Enza"s backyard in Queens." The Godfather asks the attorney, "What did he say?" The attorney replies, "He says you don't have the guts to pull the trigger."

HAVE A GREAT DAY!
