Obituary: Darthy Hill Jordan

Darthy Hill Jordan, 101, of Kinston passed away on Sunday, March 28, 2021. Born in Lenoir County, she was the daughter of the late James Vernon and Nannie Taylor Hill.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Rex E. Lee and Charles L. Jordan, son-in-law, Frankie Casey, and sister and brother-in-law, Jeff and Mary Alice Arnold. Survivors include her daughter; Lesli Casey, grandson; Charlie Casey and fiancé Candace Morris. Mrs. Jordan was a loving mother and grandmother who loved nothing better than spending time with her family and her pets Bosco, Alice and Clarence. She was a member of Woodington Methodist Church and a Pink Lady volunteer.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at the Jordan home. A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date. Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to Woodington Methodist Church, c/o Susan Moody, 2910 W. Vernon Avenue, Kinston, NC 28504.
