LENOIR COUNTY LANDFILL/SOLID WASTE PERMANENT/FULL-TIME POSITION - Scale House Operator: Permanent

Salary Range $25,635 - $38,056.

An employee is this class is responsible for processing the clerical work in administrative activities in the weighing, billing, and records information of the collection of solid waste, transporting, and recycling and disposal of wastes at the county's landfill.

Work involves day-to-day clerical, weighing, and billing operations of the landfill by applying a variety of state, federal and local environmental regulations relating to solid waste management to accomplish the work tasks. Report preparation and ordering of supplies are tasks also assigned.

**A valid North Carolina Driver’s License is required.
