Kinston Police: Updated Murder Investigation (Arrest Made) - 2015

On Thursday, January 13th, 2022, Investigators with the Kinston Police Department received information related to the murder of Timothy Nobles that occurred on May 31st, 2015. Subsequently, Investigators with the Kinston Police Department were able to obtain an arrest warrant on Marquez Outlaw, 32, of Kinston for his involvement in the homicide. Outlaw was arrested on Friday January 14th, 2022, without incident and charged with murder. He was placed in the Lenoir County Detention Center under no bond.

Since the murder occurred, Investigators have continued to work this case diligently. The Kinston Police Department maintains open investigations of all murders until such cases are solved and adjudicated.
