The Smile Bar brings clean smiles to eastern NC

The Smile Bar is a retail studio dedicated to luxury oral care and beauty that is curated by the dentist and beauty enthusiast Dr. Pitt. The Smile Bar is in the heart of Downtown Kinston at 108 W Gordon St. Their services range from standard teeth whitening, whitening touch-up sessions and studio rentals. Dr. Pitt sells upscale products for dental cleaning, hair care and women's and men’s wellness.
Dr. Pitt was born and raised in Kinston, went to school in Washington, D.C. and spend the last two years in Charleston, but is excited to be back home. She is happy to share the education of the products and services that her business offers to the community. Consumers just need to drop by during business hours to talk about them.
Dr. Pitt said, “I want to give people an opportunity and space to find luxury, high-quality products without having to drive far.”
These products include Radius, Keeko, Derma-E, Ojook, Opalescence and many more products from around the nation that are mostly vegan. The high-end products can only be sold by vendors who have contracts with small business owners.
However, Dr. Pitt sells not only luxury products, she is also a practicing dentist that is contracted to visit public schools around Eastern North Carolina. She says, “the child finds it more comfortable to receive dental care within their school library than to leave the building and go to a dentist’s office.” Dr. Pitt travels around to schools with two dental hygienists during school hours.
The Smile Bar has a wide-open concept that can be used as an event space for those folks who need a space to host an event. Recently, a Christmas party was hosted in the space and allowed the community to feel the atmosphere inside of The Smile Bar.
The Smile Bar is at 108 W Gordon St and hours of operation are Tuesday thru Friday 3:30 PM - 7:30 PM and Saturday 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM. You can also order products online at thesmilebarllc.com.
