Observations: 

No certified Food Protection manager employed. 

Bottom floor of Frigidaire Freezer is not sealed. 

Woodington Middle School Cafeteria

4939 Hwy 258 South, Kinston

Observations: 

Paint peeling on walls and around windows, including dish machine room and behind ice machine and around handwash lavatory. 

Mark time on serving line as soon as foods are placed on there. 

Southwood Elementary School Cafeteria

1245 Hwy 58 South, Kinston

Observations: 

Large pan of sanitizing solution with wiping cloths unlabeled. 

A wet wiping cloth was laying on work surface. 

The gasket on the self serve milk case in very poor repair. 

Window sills above 3 comp sink in poor repair with peeling paint. 

Floors at edge of serving line and outside bathroom in poor repair.

Observations: 

Chili and hot dogs are not greater than 135F. 

Before beginning under cooking of foods, proper notification to consumers shall be put in place. 

All equipment needs extra cleaning. 

Toilet in ladies room needs cleaning. 

Dumpster doors open. 

All walls and floors throughout walk in units need cleaning. 

Missing baseboards need to be replaced. 

Mops need to be hung so they will air dry. 

La Grange Elementary School Cafeteria

402 Railroad Street, La Grange

Observations: 

Dish machine is still not reading sanitizing temperatures. 

Dish machine not operating according to data plate. Pressure gage not operating. 

Mold growth on shelving in walk-in. White residue on outside of ice machine. 

Doors of all 4 door fridges and hot hold units need cleaning. 

Bethel Christian Academy

1936 Banks School Road, Kinston

Observations: 
A written plan of the cleanup of vomit/diarrhea events shall be provided. 

Salsa exceeded the limit of 7 day hold time for foods. 

Food service staff shall wear effective hair restraints. 

Floor of walk in fridge is rusted. 

Frink Middle School Cafeteria

102 Martin Luther King Drive, La Grange

Score: 97.5

Observations: 
Dishwasher never reached sanitizing temps after 6-10 runs. 

The plaster is crumbling off the wall in a number of places. 

Paint is peeling off in sheets in some areas. The wall board is coming loose in areas and some cracks in the walls. 

Mops need to be hung head down to air dry. 

Water at the handwash lavatory was 79F. There is a problem with consistent/sufficient hot water.
