Help wanted: Lenoir County Health Department - Public Health Nurse II - Family Planning
Special Entry Salary Range: $46,458 - $64,038
The primary purpose of this position is to coordinate Family Planning services. This position will schedule clinics and provide educational and assessment needs for these clinics. This position will also ensure program guidelines are met and initiate changes and/or new programs in a timely manner. This position will function as an adult health nurse and provide quality services in all clinics.
Minimum Training and Experience: Graduation from a four-year college or university with a B.S. in Nursing which includes a Public Health Nursing rotation and one year of Public Health Nursing experience; or Master’s in Public Health and graduation from a school of professional nursing and one year of professional nursing experience; or graduation from a school of professional nursing and two years of professional nursing experience including one year of Public Health Nursing experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
License or Certification Required by Statute or Regulation: Current licensed to practice as a registered nurse in North Carolina by the NC Board of Nursing; valid N.C. driver's license
