Traffic stop results in arrest for resisting and assault
Kinston Police Department posted the following on their Facebook pgae:
Detectives with KPD's Violent Crime Action Team conducted a traffic stop involving Qwashaun Herring. During the traffic stop, detectives attempted to serve Herring with an Order For Arrest. During the arrest, Herring resisted and assaulted the detectives. Herring was taken into custody and charged with the following:
-Order for Arrest (served)
-Felony Assault on a Law Enforcement Officer
-Malicious Conduct by Prisoner
-Resisting Arrest
-Communicating Threats
