The latest forecast from the Storm Prediction Center (SPC) has outlooked eastern NC for a Slight Risk for severe thunderstorms on Saturday.

The highest risk is expected just inland from the coast during the afternoon into evening hours. The primary threat will be damaging wind gusts through an isolated tornado can't be ruled out.
