Down East Bird Dawgs reveal inaugural 2025 regular season schedule
Opening Day set for Friday, May 9, 2025, in Kinston, NC
The Down East Bird Dawgs, along with the Frontier League, an MLB Partner League, are excited to release the inaugural 2025 regular season schedule with opening day on Friday, May 9 in Kinston, NC as the Bird Dawgs host the Ottawa Titans!
The 2025 season features a 96-game schedule, including 48 home games to be played at Historic Grainger Stadium in Kinston, NC! The Bird Dawgs will be a part of the East Division of the Atlantic Conference in the Frontier League. Divisional opponents include the New Jersey Jackals, New York Boulders, & Sussex County Miners.

Home Opponents: The Bird Dawgs will host nine Frontier League teams at Grainger Stadium, including the Ottawa Titans, New Jersey Jackals, Mississippi Mud Monsters, Quebec Capitales, Tri-City ValleyCats, Trois-Rivieres Aigles, New York Boulders, New England Knockouts, and the Sussex County Miners.
Playoff Structure: The Frontier League playoffs structure includes 8 spots. One playoff spot goes to each of the four division winners with two additional wild cards per conference. Teams will play in a best-of-three divisional series for the right to play in a best-of-five conference championship series. Teams who win their conference championship will face off in the best-of-five Frontier League Championship Series.
