Help Wanted: Processing Assistant V

As a member of the Lenoir County Government Health Department, you can make a difference! The Health Department is seeking candidates for a Processing Assistant V. The primary purpose of this position is to serve the public with dignity and respect, function as part of a team while performing clerical and administrative functions for the WIC Program in Lenoir County as required by State WIC Program guidelines. This position determines income eligibility for WIC applicants under the Federally Mandated Income Guidelines revised annually. Employees in this classification must understand the ethics of confidentiality as required by North Carolina General statutes and Lenoir County Health Department policies and procedures, along with HIPAA guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma and three years clerical

experience

• One-year on-the-job training to become competent in

all areas of responsibility

• Possess a valid North Carolina Driver’s License

• Pass a background check

Minimum Salary: $32,287.50
