Help Wanted: Social Worker IV-IAT - On Call/After Hours
As a member of the Department of Social Services with Lenoir County Government, you can make a difference! The Department of Social Services is seeking candidates for a Social Worker IV-IAT (On Call/After Hours). The On-Call/After Hours Social Worker will receive alleged reports of abuse, neglect and/or dependency or any other form of call that is received after hours/on-call during times when the agency's non-business hours, determine what course of action, if any, is to be taken to address said call/report; within legally mandated time
frames by quick assessment of the degree of risks to potential victim children by appropriate investigative techniques; provide assistance for other staff as needed and warranted in any capacity to ensure the safety of victim children; if said reports are unfounded and should be unsubstantiated or found to not be in need of services or have risen to the level of statutory definitions of such offenses in GS 7B-101 and require substantiation or a finding of in need of services and involuntary intervention to ensure the safety of victim children.

Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s Degree in Social Work from
an Accredited School
• Possess a valid North Carolina Driver's License
• Pass a criminal background check
• Must be of Good Moral Character
Salary Range: $59,859 - $72,933
